Best boot on the market. No break in needed and provided me the support I needed for all my activities.

I found these boots and didn't hesitate to buy them once I looked them over. I'm happy with how comfortable and functional these are. The fact that the toebox allows plenty of space for my wide feet and they don't bind or pinch when bending is a huge plus in my book, not to mention how easily these boots go on and come off. I went a size up from normal, but the size I normally wear would have probably been fine also, though I do tend to wear thick wool/wool blend socks. These, like most boots in this category, have good ankle support but are also very maneuverable. Overall, I'm glad I found these. Highly recommend.

You will be hard pressed to find a boot that functions as well. Outside of service, I utilized my pair for several years beyond. Only thing that happened was the leather stained from contracting work after. You can't mis with these guys.

I bought my last pair of Bellevilles (590s) in the summer of 2010, when I was still on active duty. I still wear that same pair now, as my daily wear. It's 2017 and they're as comfortable and solid as the day I bought them. Chuck in a new insole every year or so, and they're good to go. These are, without a doubt, the single best pair of boots I have ever owned.

This are outstanding boots with regards to comfort, breath-ability and traction on hard surfaces, ice and snow. Most probably the best ice&snow traction boots I have ever experienced!

During my 4 year USMC sponsored vacation I wore either these or the steel toe variant every day. They got worn out and after EAS I bought another pair. That was a few years ago and they're still going strong. Comfortable and durable, plus the obvious nostalgia benefit every time I lace them up.

I use the CHM 590 version for Chilean Marines. I used in service, in the garrison and in combat, and are the best boots I've ever used in my life. are the perfect choice for an amphibious, multi-tasking and elite force as is the Chilean Marine Corps

I purchased the 591 version of this boot that is approved by the Australian Defence Force. The boot is quite simply the best boot I have ever worn. It is light, very well ventilated, strong, and easy to take off and on. I have warn these boots every day for over 5 months now in both barracks and monsoon jungle field conditions. I have a narrow foot and they give me plenty of support and toe room. They dry out quickly so I clean them off and wear them the next day in the barracks. The sole grip pattern could be a little more open to allow mud to peel off more quickly as you walk, but that is a small thing. Thanks for really giving thought to what we need in the field.

these boots are excellent. they are very well constructed and very comfortable. i wear my pair everyday for upwards of 10-13 hours a day and they never make me feel uncomfortable. they breathe well. i can not say enough about these boots. i will probably order another pair when these wear out.
