ABOUT THE BOOT
Borrowing key performance characteristics from two of the most prolific warfighting boots in recent US military history, Belleville has created the Burma 901 V2 Jungle Boot. The Jungle warfare boot retains the best features of the Vietnam-era Jungle boot but combines the state-of-the-art direct injection construction of the legendary Belleville 390 DES. Additionally, there are several performance features such as improved drainage, reduced water pick up, and increased traction and grip in wet, muddy environments.

Customer Boot Reviews
I've had these now for almost a year and I have to say they're quite nice to wear. The rubber insole is initially stiff but over time it softens up. I never felt like there was a break in period, they where good to go from the get go. I really like the way their is no padding around the top of the boot, it allows great air flow. It can be annoying to keep the laces tucked in because of this but in the end, its just a minor annoyance. My only real complaint is that their are allot of air air pockets in the molding and as i'm wearing them down they keep appearing more an more. For the price you pay for these I expect better quality control. They get the job done and are a welcome addition the jungle boot family.
While the boots dry quickly, my only complaint is how the heels rub causing blisters and the insoles are extremely stiff, additionally the tread's heel has no roll to it resulting in the boots being awkward to walk in (I had to shave a portion of the heel down in order to allow for a normal walking gait) and the ankles are almost too loose to wear comfortably and I have to tuck my trousers into the boots for any hope of securely lacing up the boots. Otherwise the boots are comfortable, have a stable platform, and have enough room in the toe box.
Not great, but not horrible either.
