ABOUT THE BOOT

Based on the thriving Maximalist footwear trend in the running category, Belleville created the MAXX 6Z ultra-cushioned mid-height tactical boot for those requiring a soft and shock absorbing platform. Designed with a unique performance FATT MAXX™ midsole that features higher volume, softer density, and greater rebounding foam than standard tactical boots, the MAXX 6Z allows for the foot to sink deeply into the midsole for greater support, stability, uniformity of stride and overall comfort.

This boot is the boot of boots. A feather pillow is a perfect description for this go getter boot. I wear my while on patrol on the streets of NYC and find them to be perfect for the miles I put on my feet daily. Need to have this boot available in a tan color for when I do my ER work.

Wearing them for the first time this morning. They seem very comfortable and cushioned but the tongue is very thin compared to my regular SWAT boots. I hope this does not become an issue but it made them a little harder to p;ut on because the tongue "folded" while trying to put the boot on.
As I said, not an issue at this time and I hope it doesn't become one but the boot is quite coomfortable.

I ordered a pair a while back and noticed two small issues with it. One boot lace was a lot longer than the other, but I trimmed it to size and used a little heatshrink on the end to solve that problem. There was also an extra stitch from the velcro which prevented one zipper from going all the way up, just cut the stitch and it worked fine. Despite these two minor problems, I loved them. Belleville boots in general are very comfortable, breath well, and last long. These boots were no exception. Belleville remains my favorite brand of boots.
