550 ST /USMC Hot Weather Steel Toe Boot (EGA)

So, I was in Miami in 2012 for meetings with the international US-HQed org I worked for at the time. On a boring day of meetings, I snuck out and caught an Uber into Little Havana where I found an Army Surplus store. I bought the 550STs and in 2026 I'm still wearing them. They have been with me in the South African bush and mountains and along on 4x4 overland trips through Namibia, Botswana and Zambia. They are the Old Faithfuls one hears about and hopes for.

I'm a heavy commercial truck driver and laborer for over 40 years. I need a boot that I can drive a standard shift tanker truck with and then get to the job and get right to work. My 550 ST boots met the challenge. As good today as when I was in the military.

I've been wearing these bots for the last 8 years. As long as belleville stays in business. I will never wear another boot for work. These boots fit perfectly. All day i feel nothing. Easy on easy off. These boots with my line of work last nearly a year and a half, other boots maybe 4 to 6 months.
