I love Belleville boots, was issued two pairs for basic training,they lasted me almost 10 years! I have very flat feet, with rolled-in ankles,having a boot with construction like this meant I could tie the laces tightthey help support my ankles, combined with a good insolethey're a lifesaver for me. Both of my old pairs ended up tearing on the inner edge, where my foot makes the leather stretch really far. I would alternate the pairs when it was really hot, so I probably wore each for around 4 years. Really great run if you ask me,I'm sure someone with more "normal" feet would get even more time out of them. Ended up buying these steel toe variants as a civilian working at a sawmill, wanted work boots I could trust,these have been perfect.
Note: If you are buying these, consider going a size down from your typical street shoe size, they run a little big. I normally buy 10,even 10.5 shoes, but my Belleville's are 9W.

Picked these up at a thrift store for outdoor and work related use brand new and they have been very reliable with no damage outside of scuffs on the material used would highly recommend these boots have had them for about a year
